Vivid Coats is a family-owned painting and decorating business proudly based in Gippsland. Founded and led by tradie couple Marcus and Steph, our youthful, passionate team is driven to deliver high-quality finishes with care, energy, and heart.

Since starting in 2017, Vivid Coats has grown from a one-man band into a Multi Award-Winning company most recently recognised with three Master Painters Victoria and Tasmania Awards for Excellence in both New Build projects and Repaints in 2024. These awards reflect not only the standard of our craftsmanship but also the pride we take in every project, big or small.

Marcus is very passionate about his business & insisted on a quality walk through check with me to finalise any issues & ensure I was satisfied upon completion. My job involved difficult removal of an old fashioned spray on plaster & the team had all the best tools for that process. Definitely a good choice of painters, but my advice is to ensure you clarify the level of work required at the quote stage i.e. whether you require alot of remediation on older plaster walls, or is it an easier freshen up repaint.
